Many people feel that scrapbooking is very difficult, but once they understand how EASY scrapbooking can be, they wonder why they have waited so long to get started.
Necessary Tools for a Beginner:
Card Stock
Paper Trimmer
Basic Color Pens
Shape Templates
Photo Safe
Pens & Pencils
Adhesives
.... just to name a few products to get started. Most of the above can be purchased for less than $50.00 total.
Simple pages are best for beginners. We will demonstrate how to create simple but fun pages.
More advanced classes are taught all throughout each month. Call to find out more about our class schedule, check the Calendar of Events on our website, or pick up one of our monthly calendar's at the register.
Getting Started:
Select 8-10 photos for one or two page layout.
Find coordinating Cardstock or Pattern Paper to complement your photos.
Decide which templates (shapes) would help to crop your
photos.
(We will demonstrate hot to use a paper trimmer, circle scissor, Fiskar
template system, Deco Scissors, and adhesives, glue, and tabs)
Crop photos and paper into desirable shapes.
Mount photos and paper using photo safe adhesives.
We have several types of adhesives to choose from
such as:
Photo
squares, Hermafix Glue Dispenser, Tape Runner, Photo Corners, Glue Pens, .....
etc.
